Where we come from
Our roots
We have worked with supervisory and management boards and CEOs for many years – Sabrina Biedenbach in the CEO office of a DAX 40 company, Thorsten Biedenbach as an executive in one of the world’s leading logistics companies. Together, we developed best practice approaches, implemented strategies and designed governance structures in various industries and at the international level. These experiences led to the desire to found our own company in order to provide even more targeted support to decision-makers.
Starting the Board Office
With the foundation of Board Office Biedenbach in 2013, we translated our experience into the mission of professionalising board work at the highest level. We supported supervisory boards, advisory boards and management in all aspects of modern governance – from listed companies in the SDAX and DAX to family-owned businesses. Whether as a long-term partner or short-term strategic solution, we combined independence, best practice and operational expertise to develop boards into high-performance executive bodies.
Trusted advisor
Over time, we became more than just an operational partner: our clients increasingly trusted us with more complex strategic matters as well. We evolved from a supporter in board work to a trusted advisor who was deeply involved in corporate and strategic decisions. Our expertise in corporate governance, strategy and finance helped to prepare and implement key strategic decisions. This trust enabled us to create real added value beyond the classic tasks of a board office.
